The Golden Retriever Club of America is America's largest organization built to protect and further the bread of golden retrievers. Membership involves not only following higher standards of breeding, but also pledging to preserve and further the golden retriever temperament.
The AKC or American Kennel Club is the respected and trusted organization on breed registration and information. All Sanctuary Ranch Goldens are AKC registered and all puppies come with AKC golden retriever registration.
All Sanctuary Ranch Golden dams and sires have achieved the title of Canine Good Citizen by testing to prove their training and temperament. This award signifies a dog is not only trained, but is also friendly to both dogs and people.
Sanctuary Ranch Goldens participate in Valley Children's therapy dog program, donating their time to spread joy not only to the families of Sanctuary Ranch Golden puppies, but also to those who benefit from interactions with therapy dogs. Participation with Valley Children's Hospital is a testament to the temperament and versatility that Sanctuary Ranch Goldens achieve.
Sanctuary Ranch Goldens participate with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs as well. All therapy dogs must past tests and prove their reliability to be a calming and encouraging presence to those who they visit.
